Windorah International Yabby Races 2021

Windorah International Yabby Races 2021

Starts: Wednesday, 01 September 2021
Ends: Wednesday, 01 September 2021
The Windorah International Yabby Races began 1998 and is always on the Wednesday night before the iconic Birdsville Races, which is on the first weekend of each September. It is held in the street outside of the Western Star Hotel and draws a crowd of punters, ready to whet their appetite with speedy blue claw crustaceans. As well an opportunity for a good knees up, with live music, it is an event that helps raise much-needed funds for Royal Flying Doctors Association, local community groups, and auctioning for charitable organisations, such as Breast Cancer Research and Tie Up The Black Dog.
