Australia's favourite holiday marathon, this world-class event is staged annually on Queensland's Gold Coast Coast. This internationally famous event features a fast and flat course which follows the magnificent Gold Coast Broadwater, the golden beaches of the Gold Coast from Main Beach to Burleigh Heads and starts and finishes in the iconic Southport Broadwater Parklands. Featuring eight races over two days, this event has appeal for runners of all abilities including the Health and Wellbeing Queensland 2km and 4km junior dash events, the Gold Coast Airport 5km Fun Run, the Southern Cross University 10km Run, the Asics Half Marathon (21.1km) and the Village Roadshow Theme Parks Gold Coast Marathon (42.195km). Seasoned runners can combine events and complete one race on Saturday and another on Sunday.
