Spirit of Christmas 2020

Spirit of Christmas 2020

Starts: Sunday, 19 December 2021
Ends: Sunday, 19 December 2021
Musical theatre stars Amy Lehpamer (School of Rock, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, The Sound of Music) and Josh Piterman (Phantom of the Opera, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Cats, Hairspray) will join a host of special guests in uplifting song, beautifully supported by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Dane Lam, and the glorious voices of the QPAC Chamber Choir. A First Nations blessing and song will be delivered by Aunty Ruth Ghee. Other artists for Spirit of Christmas 2020 will include recent musical theatre graduates Danielle Remulta and Liam J. Kirkpatrick; popular pipe organist Eduarda van Klinken; soprano Renée Jones; boy soprano Miles Le Goullon; and special guest musician Tom Cooney. The Salvation Army’s Major Scott Allen will deliver the Christmas Message, with the concerts hosted by Spirit of Christmas favourite Sofie Formica. Helping to conclude what has been a very challenging year for most of us, QPAC’s Spirit of Christmas is a celebration of the true meaning and joy of the festive season. These concerts are an occasion to enjoy uplifting songs as we embrace the season’s enduring message of Peace, Love and Joy.
