Sandra Black - 'Solace', porcelain

Sandra Black - 'Solace', porcelain

Starts: Tuesday, 16 August 2022
Ends: Saturday, 27 August 2022
Ever inspired by nature, ceramicist Sandra Black combines abstract and organic shapes with fluid patterns to decorate her porcelain vessels. Over the last two pandemic years the studio became a place of refuge and reflection for Sandra. Delicate scenes inspired by her childhood landscape of Western Australia dance across her porcelain forms, imbuing each piece with memory and meaning. Sandra says of this exhibition, “Solace is in memory of a special friendship, ... and a return to childhood landscapes of the coast and mountains of the Southwest of WA”.
