Rites of Passage

Starts: Saturday, 30 October 2021
Ends: Sunday, 31 October 2021
The team at Rites of Passage (ROP) are excited to present to you one of the largest celebrations of tattoo culture in the southern hemisphere. They will bring you an even bigger and better event - Australia’s best tattoo culture festival for all tattooists, patrons and the greater community. ROP prides itself on the celebration of creativity and connecting different individuals through art. It is with this mentally that the Rites of Passage Festival is an all-inclusive event. And rightly so, as this year they celebrate the neo-traditional art-form of tattooing. In this exploration they recognise the American narrative in restructuring tattoos that were exclusively for the working class, outlaws and misfits to now including people from all walks of life. Join ROP as they continue to evolve the cultural narrative of tattooing, uniting as a movement and propelling society forward towards positive change.
