To celebrate this milestone, Marrickville Metro is lacing up the roller skates, dusting off the jukeboxes and bringing back the disco fever for some old-school nostalgia. The Retro Metro Festival is a two-day weekend extravaganza including mouth-watering food, drinks, culture, art, and music. Locals and Sydneysiders are invited to see the centre and its retailers transformed with jukeboxes, pop-up arcade alleys, and more. There will be a host of free events, performances, and activities for all ages to enjoy.
