Redlands Coast is South-East Queensland’s gateway to a whole new world of coastal discovery. Redlands Coast is a city of diverse, naturally wonderful villages and islands, each with its own personality, little adventures, hidden treasures and world-class events.
Redlands Coasts most iconic event - RedFest Strawberry Festival provides a vibrant mix of music, arts and cultural displays, sideshow alley with an abundance of national and international entertainment. Artists including Leo Sayer, Daryl Braithwaite, Ross Wilson, Troy Cassar-Daly, Rogue Traders, Justice Crew and many more have enjoyed rocking out on the RedFest stage.
For more than 60 years locals and visitors have gathered together to celebrate the juicy, red, sweet, and tasty strawberries. They made jams, wine, scones, salads, smoothies and just about anything else they could think of. They dressed up as strawberries; they held strawberry dances and crowned miss strawberry queens’. To this day, visitors from across the world attend the event to compete in the World Famous Strawberry Eating Competition and partake of a small bowl of fruit in the fastest time known to man, women and child.
Nowhere else in the world can you experience what this festival has on offer.
