Portraits in the windows' is a selection of artworks produced by second year students from the Bachelor of the Visual Arts, Arts Academy, Federation University. The project provides an opportunity for students to learn how to draw portraits using a range of technical methods and provides them with an understanding of the relevance of portraiture historically. The Arts Academy, Ballarat is situated in the city centre of Ballarat, and provides an opportunity for these students to exhibit their artwork as part of ‘Ballarat Winter Festival 2022’ in the historic Old Post Office building.‘
