Langley Estate presents A Dream in the Forest

Starts: Sunday, 26 June 2022
Ends: Sunday, 26 June 2022
Thomas and Simone Heywood invite you to join them in the Lauriston Chapel at Langley Estate for an exclusive performance by the brilliant young Australian award-winning classical guitarist, Clancy McLeod. Clancy comes to Langley after winning prizes in two of Australia's most prestigious competitions: the Adelaide International Guitar Competition and the Melbourne Recital Centre’s Great Romantics Competition. Witness a moving and virtuosic performance of music by some of the most famous and highly-regarded classical guitar composers including Agustín Barrios and Joaquín Rodrigo as well as the mighty Bach himself. The London Strings Festival proclaimed Clancy a ‘captivating, expressive and very musical’ performer; his exquisitely sensitive emotional expression, interpretation and delivery has delighted audiences around the world and is perfectly suited to the intimate ambience of the 1873 Lauriston Chapel.
