Island Whale Festival

Island Whale Festival

Starts: Friday, 01 July 2022
Ends: Sunday, 03 July 2022
Celebrate the arrival of some of the ocean’s most majestic creatures as Phillip Island's coastal waters play host to the annual migration of humpback and southern right whales. The Island Whale Festival provides a wonderful opportunity to dive into this immersive and educational three-day event on Phillip Island. There are many free or low-cost activities throughout this school holiday festival, like climbing into the belly of a 19-metre inflatable whale, checking out a marine wildlife photo exhibition and workshop, whale-spotting with an expert, or attending an info session on marine research or plastic reduction, and so much more. The festival hub is at St Philip's Anglican Church & the Masonic Hall in Cowes and a range of events will be hosted across Phillip Island.
