The Inverloch Jazz Festival has a long history of bringing the best of Australian jazz to our relaxed seaside location. The IJF has grown from a handful of bands in a single venue nearly three decades ago, to this year's event on 5-7 August 2022: a selection of the best in Australian jazz, with over thirty bands playing amazing music in three superb venues. The festival is an important event in jazz calendars across the country. It highlights local wine, gourmet food and tourist attractions, and is strongly supported by local Council and business. In 2022, the IJF will be a winter festival for the first time, avoiding the issues of holding it on a summer long weekend. All cosy venues are indoors, and jazz lovers will find getting coffee, meals, accommodation and parking a much easier prospect than before. Highlights will include crowd favourites, such wonderful singers Sarah Maclaine, Anita Harris and Pippa Wilson, great saxophonists Ron Anderson and Roger Clarke, and pianists such as Rory Clarke and Neil Taylor, to name just a few.
