How to Fall Flat on Your Face

How to Fall Flat on Your Face

Starts: Saturday, 02 July 2022
Ends: Sunday, 03 July 2022
Two of Launceston’s newest theatre companies have joined forces to get everyone laughing this June/July. How to Fall Flat on Your Face is a live comedy improv show in the style of "Thank God You're Here" and "Whose Line is it Anyway" Two teams will be playing improv games with the assistance of audience members. Emerge Productions formed in 2020 and Star Rae Productions moved its offices from Brisbane to Launceston in 2021. Founders Amanda Sutherland and Racheal Leigh are both working performers and performing arts teachers based in Launceston. Both are passionate about helping new performers find their feet in what can be at times an industry that is hard to break into. Amanda and Racheal through an open audition process have found an amazing collection of local performers, captained by Nathaniel Wood & Ashley Eyles who aren’t afraid to play. This show will test their metal as they are encouraged to take suggestions from the Audience whilst participating in several Improvisational Games. Taking this concept one step further our performers will also be inviting audience members to join them on stage to compete in the games. We believe this will be a unique experience for live audiences in the Launceston Area.
