It is the longest and toughest surfboat marathon in the world. Covering 188 kilometres of the most spectacular piece of Australia coastline from Batemans Bay to Eden. The George Bass Surfboat Marathon commenced in 1975, with skis added to the event in the 1990s. It is a truly unique experience for competitors, support crews and organisers. An event where personal challenges are met. Held every second year the 2022 George Bass is the 22nd event. This event will have over 500 competitors, plus families and support crew and is great to watch from the beach or boat.
