Geelong Jazz Soirees Summer Series (GJSSS) is bringing live music back to the iconic Geelong Botanic Gardens with three unmissable concerts, Saturdays in February.
Pack a picnic and enjoy performances from some of the regions finest musicians including the Suspects, Lucy Lorenne and Phillipa McQuinn and more to be announced.
Just across the road from the Geelong Waterfront, getting to the shows is easy, whether you’re travelling from Melbourne, Regional Victoria or within Geelong itself. There is plenty of parking available at the Gardens.
The concerts will take place on the new Geelong Botanic Gardens camellia lawn which features a music stage set amongst large trees and manicured garden beds - perfect for outdoor performances in the sun!
While the event is principally a music event, it is also a fabulous opportunity to sample some of Geelong’s culinary delights. With shows starting at 2pm, there is ample time to have lunch at any one of the terrific bars and restaurants located in the CBD. Or you can bring takeaway to the show.
