The community is invited to celebrate –and deepen their understanding of – Sydney’s First Nations cultures on Saturday 28 May when the Harbour Trust hosts Gai-mariagal Day (FREE) at Georges Heights in Mosman, homeland of the Borogegal People.
Between 10am and 3pm, visitors to the Landship building – located at the Headland Park Artist Precinct near Frenchy’s Café – will have an opportunity to enjoy a special showcase of talented First Nations performers, educators, and artists.
Visiting with kids? Don’t miss the storytelling session with Uncle Larry Brandy or our boomerang painting workshop! PLUS: we’ll be holding a sausage sizzle to raise funds for education programs delivered by Tribal Warrior, the social enterprise committed to revitalising First Nations culture through economic and social stability.
