Foyer Fridays with Ricky Albeck & The Belair Line Band

Foyer Fridays with Ricky Albeck & The Belair Line Band

Starts: Friday, 01 July 2022
Ends: Friday, 01 July 2022
Foyer Fridays is back with an eclectic mix of emerging and established acts from swing, pop, funk, rock, hip hop vibes to indie goodness. The monthly events have always been a favourite of music fans and locals looking to relax after a long week at work, where they can grab a drink, something to eat and catch up with workmates and friends - the live music is a bonus! As part of Umbrella Festival, songwriter Ricky Albeck combines traditional folk and country writing techniques and instrumentation with more modern sensibilities. Lyrical influences from greats like John Prine and Gram Parsons; as well as sonic influences from bands such as the War on Drugs and Father John Misty shine through on Ricky’s music. Albeck also cannot deny the influence of his parents, country music royals, Beccy Cole and Mick Albeck. So support SA's live music scene - entry to the Foyer is FREE - showcasing up & coming acts curated by Urban Movements - where you can enjoy some truly fresh tunes from 5pm. Or grab a ticket to the Main Hall from just $15 where we'll have some of SA's best acts to entertain you from 6.30pm.
