Community Wood Fired Ovens

Community Wood Fired Ovens

Starts: Sunday, 26 June 2022
Ends: Sunday, 18 September 2022
The Community Wood Fired Ovens provides a unique and fun way for people to interact with each other and develop new connections and friendships. Anything you can cook in a regular oven can be cooked in the wood fired oven. Bring your ingredients, invite your friends and meet us at Hovell Tree Park, near the Albury Swim Centre, to discover the delicious tastes of wood fired food. The ovens are fired up every second Sunday for free community use. An expert Oven Coordinator is on hand to help (guidance only – you do the fun bits). During daylight savings (October–March) the oven is open for baking from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. For the rest of the year (April–September) the oven is open from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

COMMON TIMES

New to Common Times? Here's our Quick Start Guide to help you.

Common Times acknowledges the traditional owners, first storytellers and custodians of the land we live on. We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their ongoing connection to land, sea, and community. Their sovereignty was never ceded.
