Christmas in July Festival

Christmas in July Festival

Starts: Saturday, 02 July 2022
Ends: Sunday, 03 July 2022
Take a trip to a French-inspired food, wine and winter market, over four days this July. The Christmas in July Festival will take place on Parkes Place Lawns with everything you can imagine. From authentic wood huts, Christmas lights, snow falling, mulled wine bars, melted cheese stations, and live concerts, it's all about the magic of a white Christmas. Families, friends, and Christmas enthusiasts alike will have the opportunity to gaze through a memorable combination of free and ticketed experiences. Whether you want to gather your friends and family in your private igloo, indulge in melted cheese on hot potatoes, ham, salami and pickles, or spend your night by a fire pit for an all-you-can-eat roasted marshmallows and mulled wine experience, this is winter wonderland experience like no other. Comfort food will be bountiful with iconic crepes, Fondue Savoyarde in a cob – from the French Alps – German hot dogs, Italian pasta in a cheese wheel, Belgian waffles and torched-flamed creme brûlée on offer. Adding to the excitement, five of Canberra’s most avant-garde chefs will create some unique fusion dishes, this will be a "feast-ival" like no other.
