Barbara Campbell—ex avibus

Barbara Campbell—ex avibus

Starts: Wednesday, 25 May 2022
Ends: Sunday, 19 June 2022
Multi-disciplinary artist Barbara Campbell takes inspiration from the journey of shorebirds that migrate every year from one end of the globe and back along ancient flyways in ex avibus. With a keen environmental focus, Campbell works in video, large-scale drawings, watercolours, and screen prints, to trace the journey from Arctic breeding grounds, to resting sites in South-East Asia, through to non-breeding grounds in Australia and New Zealand including Melbourne Water’s Western Treatment Farm at nearby Werribee. Exhibition partner: The Will and Dorothy Bailey Charitable Fund
