Annual Koala Count

Starts: Sunday, 05 September 2021
Ends: Sunday, 05 September 2021
The Narrandera Koala Count is a great chance for people to see koalas in the wild. Held at the Narrandera Flora and Fauna Reserve, the Koala Count is a fun way for the community to check on the koala colony which was reintroduced into the reserve in 1972. Follow the signs from the Lake Talbot Canal Bridge and wear long trousers, sturdy shoes, a hat, and take a bottle of water. At the conclusion of the event a sausage sizzle lunch and drinks will be provided at minimum cost, or bring your own picnic lunch. Please note: Due to COVID-19 risk this event will not be going ahead in 2020. 2021 dates subject to change, please contact the organiser for further information.
