Join Australia’s most acclaimed international violinist Ian Cooper with opera stars, prima ballerinas, pipe band and the Blue Danube Orchestra to evoke the sheer exuberance of An Afternoon At The Proms Spectacular 2020. Enjoy selections from the greatest love songs of all time including the romantic movie themes and musicals including medleys from South Pacific, beautiful Mario Lanza love songs including Loveliest Night of the Year and Be My Love to romantic favourites including Love is A Many Splendid Thing and Someday My Prince Will Come. With their tribute to the magnificent Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, the orchestra is joined by The Governor Macquarie Memorial Pipe Band performing Amazing Grace, Highland Cathedral, Scotland the Brave among other favourites. A message to ticket holders: Thinking of all the Proms fans. They are now rescheduling the Proms Spectacular to August 2021. They are looking for to seeing you all again. Stay safe and they’ll see you all then. If you are a ticket holder your tickets will be transferred to the new date. If the new date does not suit you, you are able to access a full refund for your tickets as per the Ticketing Code of Practice.
