Melbourne Bach Choir presents a timely and inspiring performance of choral and instrumental works themed and dedicated to peace. The programme includes works by Ukrainian composers Lysenko and Silvestrov, Barber's moving Adagio for Strings, Kodaly's Missa Brevis and more. Rick Prakhoff conducts Melbourne Bach Chamber Choir, and string orchestra. Soloists will be mezzo-soprano Belinda Paterson, tenor Timothy Reynolds and bass Alex Pokryshevsky. Donations for the printed program will support humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
