Ends: Sunday, 29 May 2022
Brisbane’s award-winning 4MBS Festival of Classics, now the largest classical music festival in the country, will be presenting its 29th annual festival from 8- 29 May 2022, and continuing its tradition of using only Queensland performers. “For 29 years, 4MBS Classic FM has been committed to showcasing the talents of Queensland artists, with performances as fine as could be seen on any stage across the globe,” said Gary Thorpe, 4MBS Classic FM Station Manager. This year’s Festival of Classics will feature almost 500 Queensland musicians in orchestras, choirs, ensembles and solo performers in 23 concerts over three weeks in a dozen venues across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
