The Country Women's Association (CWA) of Victoria Inc. is holding its State Creative Arts Exhibition in Ararat in 2021. This prestigious event showcases the skills of members in over 270 categories, including crafts, knitting, embroidery, art, cookery, preserves, toys and dolls and many more. As part of the 2021 Exhibition, they will be holding the first Ararat Sock Festival. They invite you to participate and celebrate hand knitted socks. This event will be open to everyone: CWA members, their friends and family, the general public. Come along to the Ararat Town Hall to see an amazing display of over 1,500 exhibits. Craft demonstrations, sales of CWA cookbooks and merchandise, and craft materials stall.
