About This Group

This group is convened by Volunteering Victoria under its Place-Based Volunteer Managers Networks program. This groups aims to bring together those in the East Gippsland Shire who manage volunteers as part of their role in a community group or not for profit organisation. We encourage sharing of challenges and ideas around managing volunteers. Meetings at the moment are chaired by Jan Lucas from Volunteering Victoria but post June 2021 chairmanship will be rotated across the group. The group meets bi-monthly in person when possible or via zoom if pandemic responses dictate. Discussion at the meetings is open, supportive and confidential. Membership is by request and approval.
